Goodbye hurts (updated)

Dear all,

I'm sure majority of you would have heard about the sudden departure of Ven.MiaoTan. She had flown back to Taiwan on Tuesday Morning, thereabout. I know that it would come as a shock to alot of us, especially the few who were with me in the meeting with her just last Sunday, namely YeeSiang, ChuanKai, YinHui, Valerie and ZhaoMin. Pardon me if i had missed out any names.

In an extract of the recent mail i had received from her, she had mentioned that she was apologetic about her decision. Also:

[Do take care and behave, I hope our FGS Youthians can be a shining rock that gives out brightness and shine of hope.]

[all the best to you and all FGS Youthians, sent my regards to them on my behalf.]

So, i pray you all, please don't let her down. I've also received specific instructions to lead all of you down the right path of the Dharma. As i will always try to keep up to what is expected of me, i wish that we FKYouthianz will work together for the better good.

Lastly, i don't know how many of you all will shed tears over this matter, but i still hope that any thoughts or views about this matter, can be brought up and shared. I admit, her departure didn't come as a surprise to me, but still, i couldn't hold back my tears. Please don't keep it to yourself. I'm sad, everyone's sad. Leave a message on the tagboard or something, she'll see it. However, i hope no one feels a sense of regret here. Be it regretting over unsaid words, or regretting just over that fact that you had taken her presence for granted.

I've said my piece.

{UPDATE }

[I know I am labelled "irresponsible" but I hope you all will learn to be more responsible. I look forward to see a fruity growth in our FGS Youthians. Take care, you all are always in my mind. I will miss your noise and laugher.]

On this note, i hope all of us will remember her, keep her deeply etched in our hearts. Remember all that she had done for each and everyone of us. The number of times her heart broke when we suffered over at the Taiwan camp, the days she spent worrying about those who were sick, and everything else. I hope that you all will strive and be the best Youthian that you can be. Be what she had always wanted us to be. She didn't arrange the Taiwan Camp for no reason, please, try to learn something from it, and use it in your daily life.

Yes, there were times when she was stricter, yes, there were times when we felt discouraged. But she never left our sides. Throughout the whole course of the Taiwan Camp, she was there with us, all the way. Be it rain, or shine.

Ven. MiaoTan had always wanted the best for us. She never let loose of any opportunity for us to learn something. I'm sure all who went for the TuanKangCamp before the Taiwan Camp can attest to that.

Please try to see tht ultimately, she was doing it all for our sake.

I don't know what the future will bring, she may stay at FGS, she may be transferred to another branch, who knows. Afterall, as Master HsingYun always wanted so, for life is unpredictable.

This will be a one time thing, as for the formation of our own FKYouthian Committee, as how VenMT had wanted it to be.

So i hope that all will turn up, so that we will not let her down, and to make the best of everything we have now.
